KING BED, BALCONY OVER RIVER
My wife and I have been staying at the River Ranch Hotel for over 40+- years. For all of those years we have enjoyed the most professional, friendly and accommodating staff and dinning experiences. Although all Guest Services are excellent, Most recently Danielle has catered to our every wish, when we need to amend, change or extend our visits, she has been the most accommodating, she is the most pleasant person that we have ever dealt with and any hotel we have stayed at for our 41 years of marriage. We have booked our favorite room again this year to celebrate our 42'nd anniversary. We have already booked reservations at the restaurant for several meals during our stay and have asked for Asa. We listen to his meal recommendations and choose accordingly, and no matter what it is that we order, the Chef always delivers on Asa's promise of delectability. He is one sharp, attentive, responsive person and always fills us with great food and pleasant conversation, elevating the fabulous dinning experience to a level unmatched by any other restaurant we have ever eaten at in the entire Tahoe/Truckee/Reno area. River Ranch has the best burger (dinner menu) in town! So delicious.
Cheeseburger with French Fries
My fondest childhood memory... paddling the Truckee with my family & enjoying THE BEST cheeseburger of my 10 year old life on the River Ranch deck. Still true today!
Ranch Stroganoff
We had the steak, cooked to temp perfectly that melted in your mouth, it was so tender. The ranch stroganoff is an amazing meal with that home cooked feeling to complete it. Stop in to the River Ranch for your next treat!
* Mary's Half Chicken
Moist and delicious- hands down the best chicken dish I've eaten!! Began the meal with a very tasty Caesar salad and First Chair martini.
* ^Certified Angus Cheeseburger
I had the cheeseburger during lunch on the patio. It was one of the best burgers I've had in ages, and the view of the river was superb. Highly recommend.
^Mahi Mahi
We celebrated my Birthday with 24 for dinner on the patio late June, 2024! It was a beautiful evening by the river. Appetizers were delicious (calamari, Brussel sprouts and more). All dinners came out at the same time, hot and delicious. Our server did a great job! Every single person loved their meal. Thank you River Ranch for making my evening special!
* Autumn Farm Salad
Absolutely delicious salad. I've had the spring/summer version and it's equally as good! Perfect mix of ingredients, quality lettuces and just the right amount of homemade salad dressing. So good I've tried to copy it at home!
KING BED, OVER PATIO
I Really enjoyed the room that had L shaped balcony two Balconies, I think it was Room 26 faces the road.Love everything about it
* Bison Short Ribs
Fall off the bone tender and delicious! An outing to the River Ranch is a must when we are in the area!
